Air Travel:

Jagannath Puri is connected by Air, Rail and Road. The nearest Airport is at Bhubaneshwar which is about 65kms. IAC operates daily flights from Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkotta and Mumbai.

Rail:
This holy town has a direct train from Kolkatha, Delhi and also has a train  link with another holy temple town Tirupathi. The journey to Delhi takes about 30 to 40 hours depending on the train one opts. The Nilachal superfast Express takes about 32 hours while Utkala/Kalinga  train takes about 40 hours. The journey from Kolkatha is about less than one night. There are also several trains to Bhubaneshwar but then the bus service woud be faster. This place is about 45Kms from Khurda which is on the main train line of Chennai-Kolkatha. In adddition to these there are several others connecting Agra, Varanasi, Mumbai etc.

Bus:
On the Grand Road by the side of Gundicha Mandir, the bus stand is situated. Bus services starts from here to Bhubaneshwar regularly. There are non stop bus services also to Bhubaneshwar.
